" From the moment we walked into Bascom's, we felt welcomed. We were here to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Even the host wished us a good day. Our server was Yvonne and she was excellent at her job. She was personable and knowledgeable. For our appetizer, we ordered the dozen oysters. These were sourced from the James River. They were delicious. My husband ordered the wagyu ribeye and I ordered the small filet. Our sides were the mixed mushrooms and the scalloped potatoes. Everything was incredible. The steaks were tender and full of flavor. I also ordered two different drinks. The bramble and the Bascom's coffee for dessert. The crème brûlée was extra creamy and of course crisp on top. We loved our experience here. We will definitely return."
